A few tips

Add Enough Liquid: Make sure to add enough liquid! If the oats-liquid ratio is off, the grains will absorb all of the milk and lose their spoonable consistency. They’ll be less creamy. Have at least double the liquid per each serving of oats: 1 cup of milk to ½-cup of oats.

Don't skip the seeds: Chia seeds and flax seeds are the foundations to this genius breakfast. Don't skip them! These super seeds need time to absorb liquid. They help to thicken overnight oats. If you’re grain-free, you can make a batch with just the liquid portion and chia, flax and hemp seeds; they plump up enough to thicken any type of milk.

Remember to mix before you eat: Yes, overnight oats are one of the lowest-maintenance breakfast foods in your arsenal. But most people miss an important step in between removing them from the fridge and chowing down: re-mixing. Take a few extra seconds to stir the oats, and you’ll be rewarded with the perfect mix of sweetness, chewy texture, and crunch in every bite.

3/4 Tbsp chia seeds
3/4 Tbsp flax seeds
1/2 Tbsp hemp seeds
1 Tbsp natural salted peanut butter
Stevia to taste

What You'll Need To Know

In a mason jar or small bowl add the ingredients and stir with a spoon to combine.

Press down with a spoon to ensure all oats have been moistened and are immersed in almond milk (or liquid of choice.)

Cover securely with a lid or plastic wrap and set in the refrigerator overnight (or for at least 6 hours).

The next day, open and enjoy as is, or garnish with desired toppings like almonds, blueberries and coconut flakes.

Overnight oats will generally keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, though best within the first 12-24 hours.
